The history of the enterprise began with the opening of the first military uniform factory in March 1919, which switched to mass production of civilian clothing in February 1922
and became known as \"Homode\". In April 1928, the factory was named \"Comintern\".<\/p>

In 1964, it was transformed into the Gomel Production Sewing Association \"Komintern\" (GPSHO \"Komintern\").<\/p>

In the process of formation at the factory, the organizational structure was revised, equipment of imported production of the companies \"Pfaff\", \"Strobel\", \"Singer\" (Germany) was purchased;
AMFREECE (Czechia); Juki, Brisay (Japan); Rimoldi, Macpi (Italy); Eastman (USA) \u2014 advanced technologies were introduced. As a result, Gomel garment association Comintern became the only specialized enterprise<\/p>

\u00a0in the republic for the production of men's classic suits.<\/p>

In 1993, GPShO \"Comintern\" was transformed into OJSC \"Comintern\" through corporatization. The process of corporatization was completed in 1995.<\/p>

Since 2006, the companys assortment development policy has been revised, which made it possible to define clear target segments and a positioning strategy. As a result, since 2007 the CITY LIFE youth suit collection has been launched, since 2009 the VALEROSSO premium classic suit line, and in 2010 the MAN WAY business classic suit collection.<\/p>

Collections are updated annually by more than 60% in accordance with consumer requirements and fashion trends.<\/p>
